Step 5: divide dough into balls, and then shape each ball into a bagel
Step 6: carefully drop a few bagels at a time into a pot of boiling water for about 45 seconds, and flip each bagel once half way through
Step 7: remove any excess water from the bagels and then place on a greased baking sheet
Step 8: top with flavored seasonings if preferred
Step 9: bake bagels for about 30 minutes and then let cool
