Bagel Quest

New York skyline on a sunny afternoon

Last week, our owner Ken went on a journey to New York City in search of the

perfect bagel. As we’ve mentioned in our past blog post, NYC is known for its out-of-

this-world bagels, and it is the breakfast staple of a busy lifestyle. Ken searched high

and low for this elusive perfect bagel, from bagel shop to bagel shop.

It wasn’t until he returned home that he discovered – the best bagel is at the humble

Bagel Bakery. Calling all New Yorkers — come see for yourself! You can’t beat a Bagel

Bakery Bagel.

Classic New York Bagel

You may be stuck in Florida all summer, but you can always take a vacation with your taste buds. New York City is famous for its bagels with lox. Here’s how to make it at home.

You will need:

  • 1 Bagel Bakery bagel
  • 1 tablespoon plain Bagel Bakery cream cheese
  • 1 slice smoked salmon
  • A handful of chopped dill

Slice the Bagel Bakery bagel in half. Toast until desired crispiness. Spread the cream cheese and top with salmon and dill. Enjoy! Don’t waste your money on a plane ticket when you can enjoy the taste of the Big Apple at home.

Bagel Bakery: A Place For Everyone

The sociologist Ray Oldenburg was the first to mention the “third place.” There is a first place for home and a second place for work. But, the third place is somewhere for the public to relax, meet friends and unwind.

The third place could be many different places to different people. But we want the Bagel Bakery to be your third place. With our friendly staff, warm coffee and relaxing seating, we want to be the place that you go to let your guard down and enjoy life.

Next time you want to bond with your kids, have a client meeting or even just enjoy a good book, come to the Bagel Bakery. We make bagels and friends, plus, a fun environment for your third place.
